Features bont shoe helix durolite
Bont road performance shoes are the most thermo-moldable on the market.
The applied resin can be very rigid, yet highly moldable and flexible at relatively low temperatures, for amazing customization of fit to the rider. On the other hand, the sole has been designed to maximize grip and minimize the retention of mud and dirt.
Features:
- IP1 BOA bi-directional micro adjustment with Kevlar wiring
- Insole produced by Bont in heat molded EVA. It has a hardness of 65ª and only 3mm thick, making it extremely light and heat moldable.
- Lightweight and highly resistant interior, as well as resistant to odor and sweat.
- Memory Foam, rigorously tested memory foam. After six months of use it keeps its shape. It has also been tested against impacts. The foam is closed cell so it does not absorb moisture and is extremely light.
- Anti-stretch tapes that prevent the shoe from stretching.
- Chassis made of carbon. 3K 198 cross-woven aircraft grade carbon exterior and unidirectional carbon interior. Unidirectional carbon has half the strands of cross woven carbon. Provides strength in one direction, making it lighter by using less carbon and absorbing less resin.
- Durolite on the outer skin of the cut as well. It acts as an inner membrane, also resistant, that provides durability and lightness to the product.
- Ventilation holes.
- Height 3.6 mm.
- Weight 260 g (Size 46.5).
- White/Grey colour.
- MOULDING MODE (If necessary):
- You don't need to mold them if they fit right right after you try them on. To mold them you must remove all the elements such as studs, laces, insoles… The oven should be preheated to 70ºC and “bake” the shoe 20 minutes. Never bake at a higher temperature or use the grill. Wait for them to cool down a bit before trying them on. You can use the back of a screwdriver to apply pressure to mold the shoe to the shape of your foot. You can also “bake them” as many times as you want.
